Romantic Asexuals know how hard it is to find someone who shares their lack of interest in sex, but it is not impossible, it is simply difficult. Even though finding a partner who wants to cuddle and does not want to go all the way may not be as easy as finding a partner who wants to 'hit a home run,' it is by no means impossible. Miss Lonelyhearts who writes an advice column for the Winnipeg free press seems to think differently. When a middle aged woman wrote in asking for advice on how to seek an Asexual partner, the columnist suggested the letter writer try the eunuch room or a retirement home.

Readers of the Winnipeg Free Press may overlook her suggestion that senior citizens are Asexual beings, although this label applies to very few elderly people. They may even overlook the eunuch suggestion because it is the easiest part of the suggestion to overlook, but what cannot be ignored is that there are middle aged Asexual men. Some of them may even want to date the woman who wrote in to Miss Lonelyhearts.

Rather than suggesting the woman try the nursing home or that she seek therapy because she has a red aura towards men, the columnist should have directed the woman to Asexual dating sites. Miss Lonelyhearts's ability to read auras is something best left to someone who can understand and debunk this belief. Auras may or may not be able to give off letters, but no one on staff seems to know.
