Few people will bother to ask is Asexuality wrong. They often ask if it is a disorder, what the causes of it are, and a few extremely rude individuals will ask if a person has had their hormones checked or gone to get treated. A state of being is not a moral issue on its own. It simply defines a person. There is still a lot of heated debate over the morality of homosexuality and it is far from settled.
There are people who will say that procreation is part of god's plan for a person's life and not acting upon this plan is sinful, but this is a personal attitude. Even if there is a chapter and verse that a person can use to justify this attitude, the person spouting it rarely gives one. (It is not uncommon for many people professing a religion to not read their Holy Books). Even people who say Asexuality is a sin – and they do exist – are missing the point when they say not to act upon it. Asexuals who do not want sex will act upon it. Failure to act in a sexual manner is not a conscious decision. It is simply who they are. Acting upon Asexuality does not cause anyone to commit a sin in most religions.

Actually, we aren't. We just don't care to use our 'equipment', to try and prove that they work. (Well, maybe some Aces do, but chances are, they're trying to convince themselves that they aren't Asexual. Or haven't come to terms with their sexuality, in other words).

No, it's not. Even if it were, so what? A lot of other things are unnatural, such as vehicles. But who actually advocates only walking, running or jogging to get from point A to point B? After all, even bicycles are considered vehicles.

Many people, including one Variety reporter, think there is a connection between Asexuality and Aspergers Syndrome. A lack of interest in sex or a lack of sexual attraction does not indicate that an individual is suffering from a condition. Asexuals do not develop sexual relationships because they do not feel the need to do so. Some of them are on the Autism spectrum, but many people on the spectrum are just as sexual as those who are neurotypical.

If it were, would there be any sexuals in relationships complaining about the lack of romance? Instead of giving something to talk about, hopefully this author has given you something to think about.
The idea that romance is separate from sex has long been part of the Asexual movement. Romantic orientations and physical attraction are not always the same thing.
