Asexual News Privacy Policy
Asexual News does not sell user data it collects from users. Third-party advertisers may place cookies on a site that helps the advertisers better track ad behavior and better target advertising to specific users. Asexual News only collects e-mail addresses for the purposes of registration and password retrieval. It should also be mentioned that we will never hack your computer, just to get a news story. Unlike a certain other news media outlet that shut down out of the blue fairy recently.
Comment Policy
The comment feature exists so that users can provide commentary, additional information. The staff e-mails are available through the contact us page. Spam comments will be deleted, as will comments with excessive profanity or sexual content. The comments should align with what is acceptable in TV 14 and PG-13 ratings. You're also responsible for proof reading what you write before you submit a comment. As it lends more credibility to what you write. And on a similar note, you're also responsible for editing your comments afterward, as we can't do so for you... Well, we could, but it'd be unethical to do so.
PG-13 Policy
This policy is in place because of porn spammers and bots who look for a certain word in the web site's name. They do not see what the content is. This site contains discussions about human sexuality, but not about intercourse itself. The site is not an adult site and should not be mistaken for one. Ace News and Cake News were simply domain names that were already taken. A person can get to the same site through http://cakenews.info.

Are you someone who can handle news-style pieces and the occasional opinion piece? Do you want to see different viewpoints represented on Asexual News? If so, you should consider writing for the site.
Becoming a writer for the site does not offer any payment beyond exposure. At the moment no one is getting paid, not even the owner. This will change as the site continues to grow. Writing for the site will give you exposure which you can use for later pieces or a portfolio. You can also, if you decide to leave the site, use us for a reference.
How to Apply:
- E-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with a writing sample.
- Sign up for an account with the site. Be sure to validate your account so it does not get deleted
- You will get a response from the publisher within a few days. If you are added to the writer's group, you can post content. You need to check the items that are already on the site before posting at the very least. In an ideal world, you would ask the editor or the Administrator if an item needs to be covered before hand. The editors and the administrators prefer to take a Laissez-faire approach. Editors Note: It's not that we're Laissez-faire necessarily, it's that this is a website and it's rather ridiculous to expect the staff to be on here 24/7. (Even though I do have a habit of checking this website a few times a day to see if there are any new articles/opinion pieces for me to edit, not sure about the other editor(s) though).
You will note the articles here are short. That is done deliberately, but the basics of writing for the web are easy to pick up. If you have a specific area you would like to focus on, please contact us. While you work with the site, you will have an @asexualnews.com e-mail address to use for business purposes.

The following list of sites is not comprehensive, nor does it include all the Asexual Resources on the Internet. There are thousands of blogs and the staff cannot keep up with all of them, especially as new ones come out every day. If you know of a blog or Website that has not been included in this list, please use the Contact Us Link to fix this oversight.
