Being human is not my gender: Asexuals with “fetishist identity dysphoria”

Asexuality has many shades of gray. Some people, like this author, have sexual fetishes. They engage in these fetishes to fulfill their needs, but, these fantasies can also lead them into questioning their own sexual gender.

Much like transgenders whom are uncomfortable with their bodies, these Grey-Aces yearn to have their bodies reflect what their inner fantasies are.

According to this author (whom is also a part of this little unknown community), this mentality isn't in anyway misanthropist. It serves as an outlet to comprehend one's sexuality and have a greater understanding of oneself.
