Pravda is no longer the propaganda rag for the communist party. It even touched upon the issues of Asexuality recently. The article that appeared may have been a response to Tracy Clark-Flory's article in Salon.com.
“Asexual people are the people who say no to sex voluntarily. Those people have their own reasons behind such an unusual decision”, wrote Pravda reporter Natalia Sinitsa Yoki. The rest of the article delves into the discussion of Angela Tucker's (A)sexual documentary and repeats many of the confused phrases that appeared in the Salon.com article.

Asexuals who were born after 1985 may not realize that the World Wide Web* has made it much easier to discover their Asexuality. People who entered into their teenage years before the birth of the World Wide Web had far less to go. Rachel White had a chance to sit down with David Jay. She continues the idea of what Asexuals can teach about sex, but she misses several key points or focuses on things that do not matter to every Asexual.
The first reading of the article seemed to focus on what Asexuality meant for women. The author of the original piece is female and the focus is understandable. However, by focusing on what it means for women, White neglects a significant portion of the population. She does not comment about what Asexuality might mean for men.
“Too often for women, celebrating your sexuality is a specific kind of sexually–available, sexy-all-the-time. The message that it’s okay to celebrate sexuality in opposite ways seems powerful and important,” wrote White on her Rachel Rabbit White blog.
