You're overly involved with your busy life -- Asexuality Top 10 Number 7

(c) Swankivy. Used with Permission.

Some people accuse Asexuals of simply being too busy to take an interest in sex. This is counterintuitve when many other people seem to think Asexuals have a lot of free time because they don't spend a lot of time dating. Both ideas are silly and ignore the realities of Ace life.

Arguments about the Queer status of Heteroromantic Asexuals serve no purpose.

Even though the debate over Asexuals are queer as a whole or not continues, it has settled down. A new debate has come up about the queer states of heteroromantic Asexuals. Bisexuals and Heteroromantics can sometimes pass as straight, but being able to pass as a straight person does not make that person Heterosexual.

Asexuals and sex

It's interesting to observe that for a group of people not into sex, if the AVEN forum is anything to go by, we sure like to talk about various aspects of it. Including, but not limited to: BDSM, porn (Would mentioning porn bring porn bots here?), working as a hooker, or other sex related job, etc.

Discovery Health lists Asexuality as one of 10 Unusual Sexual Conditions

The Health Section of How stuff Works includes Asexuality in their list of 10 unusual sexual conditions. The article does not give a date and contains several factual errors. The factual errors are problematic, but the biggest problem with the article is where it appears.

Freeman should have realized that if Asexuals have become more outspoken, they would take issue with any list on a health site that lists Asexuality as a condition. The problem lies with the connotative meaning. Placing Asexuality on a health answers website makes the people who find the site think that Asexuals need treatment.
