From Sherlock to Sheldon: Panel on Asexuality and Ficton at WisCon

Science fiction and women seldom go together let alone science fiction and feminism. WisCon, a science fiction convention is Wisconsin is making an attempt to change that. K. Tempest Bradford announced that this year’s convention will feature a panel on Asexuality.

The panel, which will be held on May 25, will discuss Asexuality in fiction. Panelists will discuss Asexuality, how it is represented in fiction, ahd how it should be represented in fiction. The panel title, from Sheldon to Sherlock may have nice alliteration, but it misses one key science fiction character who many people believe to be Ace.
