Savage on MTV

Dan Savage of Savage Love is branching out from his advice column to the MTV screen.Savage, who controversially called out asexuals for wanting to “inflict yourself [sic] on a normally sexual person”, struck a deal with MTV for a pilot episode of a new series, says Insider TV.

MTV has worked previously with Savage on his "It Gets Better Project".

The ordered show will follow Savage on college campus visits while he speaks and gives advice on sexual health and relationships.Instead of taking letters, Savage will take questions from an auditorium audience. The show will run on the same advice-based premise as Savage Love.The pilot of the yet-unnamed show will premier later this year.
