Tim Gunn: 29-year "Dry Spell" Not Unusual for an Asexual

Tim Gunn has not had sex for 29 years. The media coverage calls the Project Runway star's decision to go without sex, “a dry spell”. A 29-year dry spell is actually not unusual for a person who does not have any interest in sex.

The fashion designer revealed his sexual orientation last year. The reality television star told The Revolution he considered committing suicide at age 17. Statements he made in the recent television interview point to the star's stance as a Homoromantic Asexual. Gunn does not believe that sex is necessary for bonding in an intimate relationship.

Gunn made his comments on ABC's show The Revolution. The Project Runway star left the possibility of having sex open, even though his current life is happy and fulfilled.
