Asexual Awareness Week 2012 -- Will It Happen?

Correction: Sara Beth Brooks wrote, "That's not really true -- the intention is to allow communities and andcampuses to schedule their own this year, so some of them may fall inthe 2012 calendar year. There won't be "one" AAW this year though, no."

Asexual Awareness Week, which is normally an annual event, will not be held in 2012. The event will take place in 2013. Vlad made the announcement on the A Life podcast. The change should allow members of the committee to form.

A call for the 2013 committee should be made in the fall. Changing the time from the Fall to the Spring allows the committee to synchronize the university schedules of the United States and Great Britain more easily.

...thanks. Yes No Don't make it sound like we're all just slacking and not putting an event on this year. The committee agreed as a group that October was not an ideal time for AAW for various reasons and decided that much earlier in the year would be better and it seemed kind of silly to another AAW just a few months later.

Real Life Situations are At Fault Here Yes No Sorry, I've moved out of state and have had to deal with a lot of different bureaucracies. Any fault on this end is my fault, not the fault of AAW.
