AVEN Proposes Romantic Identities Subforum

AVEN, the largest Asexual organization and website declined to add an Aromantic forum. Critics questioned the reason AVEN had turned down the forum yet again. A proposed forum hopes to solve this problem and prevent the walling off of the community that the administrators and moderators feared.

The new forum, the A/Romantic Identities subforum attempts to be all-inclusive. A current poll made available to users asks members if they want to rename the Asexual Relationships forum or add a new subforum.

Neto starts website, mailing list for African Asexuals

Julio Neto, the founder of the Brazilian Asexual forum, searched for an Asexual website in Africa. He did not find one. He originally put out a call for Lusophones. The call was an attempt to revitalize the languishing forums. Although his attempts to revitalize the Portuguese sites continues, he is also attempting to encourage a dialogue about Asexuality in Africa.

Asexuality in Africa, a new blog, hopes to address the lack of Asexual websites. The blog, which started only a few days ago, only has one post. Users can also subscribe to a mailing list to keep up on Asexual groups and other issues in Africa.
