Results for the Who Would Make the Best Doctor Poll

An unplanned but extremely necessary trip prevented the poll results from being written up on Saturday, as is normal for the site. A new poll also failed to go up on Sunday as a result of the trip. Asexual News apologizes for the delay in the poll.
The best doctor poll produced the following results, which seemed to be taken by many people who are unaware of some of the old doctors, particularly Tom Baker.
- David Tennant – 44%
- I Would Make the Best Doctor – 26%
- Matt Smith – 9%
- Peter Davison – 6%
- Christopher Eccleston – 9%
- Tom Bakler – 3% (Seriously? Many of the scripts were even written by Douglas Adams).
- Nathan Fillion – 3%
- Colin Baker – 3%

Visitors may notice the donation button that now appears on top of the ads. The donation button is a new addition to the site and it was placed there out of necessity. The ads we run do not pay for our server hosting costs. The site’s owner has paid for the hosting out of her own pocket, but it may not be possible to do so for much longer. (The loss of her real life job may make it difficult to continue paying the VPS in this manner).

Asexual News's most recent poll started on April 1st. Because it started on April 1st, it was not intended to be serious or to ask any important questions. The results also do not matter. Although Ace Amoeba currently enjoys a slight lead over Henrik from the Asexual Awesomeness Party, there is only one person on the the list who would actually be eligible to run for US President at the moment.
- Henrik – Too Scandinavian.
- CF_Asexual – Too Canadian.
- Ace Amoeba – Not Yet Old Enough.
The winner of the poll, who almost certainly knew this before she posted it, is Lara Landis. A real poll will be put up Monday. Happy Easter.

In the latest article it was reported that BiologistBlackBelt admitted to being a Unitarian. This was an oversight as it is her girlfriend's family who is Unitarian. Ace Amoeba apologizes for the error.

Our "How Do You Idenity Poll" will run for a few more hours today. The poll produced some interesting results, although it only included a small sample of respondents. The results were:
